For ppl in cosmetics/fragrances at dept. stores!!?

If you work in the cosmetic areas or fragrance areas of a dept. store (I work for Macy's in a smaller city) what kinds of ';spiffs'; do you get?

ie: we used to be able to get tester bottles of perfume and new employees got to try skin care so they got certain testers to try at home. Now that we have turned over to a new district, we arent allowed to even take home SAMPLES! I think it is so unfair and since we work there I think we should be able to at least try the products we sell and get to have contests etc. that have prizes like all the testers we have!

When we get rid of the testers, we have to give them to our Lost Prevention MNGR. and he breaks them and disposes of the substance in a big tub. UNFAIR!!!

Tell me what you think, what do you guys get to do...ETC! Sorry if I can't explain well. :)For ppl in cosmetics/fragrances at dept. stores!!?
I work at a small Macy's and we still get things if the manager and loss prevention signs them out. I guess I can look forward to that ending soon. For ppl in cosmetics/fragrances at dept. stores!!?

  • What cosmetic company makes no-paraben, no-alcohol, no-dioxane, no -fragrance, no-paraphin?

I am looking for skin care products that are somewhat chemical free and work well , withour skin irritants, could anyone tell me what are some skin care lines that offer no parabens, no alcohol, no fragrance, no mineral oil(paraphin), and no dioxane? What cosmetic company makes no-paraben, no-alcohol, no-dioxane, no -fragrance, no-paraphin?
Use natural skin care products and home made recipes. For more details about products and what are the recipes, you can visit the source site. What cosmetic company makes no-paraben, no-alcohol, no-dioxane, no -fragrance, no-paraphin?
Try Aveda products, they're available at Aveda stores and online.
You might want to try natural mineral make up made from only the natural minerals from the earth's elements. They are made from minerals and pigments found in nature, that are crushed. If you have sensitive skin, this will work wonders, as they do not contain any oils, and feel like your wearing no makeup at all.

By using mineral make-up you are less likely to clog your pores, therefore resulting in fewer breakouts. Also you have a natural built in SPF, which we all know by now is so important to prevent damage caused by the sun and our environment.

Another plus to mineral makeup is that it stays on all day and night. Even if your going to the gym, breaking a sweat, it doesn鈥檛 run down your face like most foundations will. Put it on and it stays put.

    Hope this helped. Good luck
mineral makeup... sheer cover, bare minerals, pure minerals.

They sell much of this make up on ebay for half the cost of buying it from the website.

Aside from thesse, you can't buy makeup that doesn't have something bad in it.

As much as I love fragrance, it's tricky business picking out something for someone else. It's the same for cosmetics. If you are sure of the person's tastes it can be fun to pick something like that out for them but usually it's better to go for another item like a nice handbag.Do you buy fragrance or cosmetics for Christmas ?
    Huh? I can't read that.
Fragrance is too usual ; not cosmetics. You can never get enough cosmetics.

What brands would you find at the Lancome fragrance and cosmetic outlet?

Im going outlet shopping and was curious what other brands would be at the Lancome fragrance and cosmetic outlet. What brands would you find at the Lancome fragrance and cosmetic outlet?
I have the fragrance ';Hypnose'; by Lancome. It's one of their most popular fragrances so it may be there. It's an oriental fragrance with passion flower, vanilla and vetiver.

I also have one of their facial creams. It's called ';Lancome Renergie';. I like it because it moisturizes without being at all greasy. In fact it almost functions like a primer, leaving the skin with a matte finish. Really great for warm weather. If you see that on at the outlet it's a good one! Enjoy your shopping trip, sounds like fun! What brands would you find at the Lancome fragrance and cosmetic outlet?
L'oreal owns Lancome. But they probably wouldn't have L'oreal products at a Lancome outlet. More than likely they would have Lancome products only. I used to work for Lancome so thats my best guess.
Lancome is a part of Loreal. I guess if the outlet is advertised as a Lancome outlet, then they may only stock Lancome otherwise it might be called a Loreal outlet. In which case they have a huge range of cosmetics. Try the website below.

I have seen Biotherm, Shu Uemura, and of course Lancome. They often have really good deal there!

The local cash and carry outlets stock these products. Whether you could make enough on them to make it worth your while is another story. Some of their products are not much less than you can buy on the high street.

Assuming from your name that you're in Glasgow, there's a big Costco that has most of what you want. Check out Makro, too, although I'm less familiar with their range.

In both cases you'll need to apply for an account and need proof of your business. Costco does allow personal accounts as well but I think Makro is purely for businesses.
